From the very beginning, Thump has been guided by a fundamental desire to create both a better cup of coffee and a better experience for the people who drink it.
The desire to marry together these seemingly disparate and unrelated philosophies came from the recognition that it was desperately needed in our industry. We saw that the coffee industry lacked providers who were passionate about both sides: not just the cup, but the cup and the human being hoping to be moved by it.
Over time, we’ve developed a strong reputation for the quality of our craft.
We want everything we make, everything we provide to our people, to be worth more than what they pay for it. Not simply because of our care for craft, but because of our care for them. Don’t miss what we are saying - we believe in our work, and we believe in perfecting our product. If we’re not striving to be the best - we don’t want to play the game. But why do we play the game? We play it for our people. Our craft is not the most important thing in our world: our people are.
We know coffee is just a beverage. Even so, we believe to our core that it is capable of amazing things.

Andy has been a part of the Thump team since 2014. He is our general manager in charge of coffee for our Denver locations. He oversees training and quality control and loves to talk/teach people about coffee.
Gabby started baking for Thump Coffee Capitol Hill in 2014, and led the development of food and baking operations in both Bend Oregon and Denver Colorado. When working in the kitchen, Gabby brings a scientific and methodical approach to creating products that she hopes will inspire and bring joy to others. She currently acts as a Denver General Manager and Corporate Chef.
Kelsey helps manage/ run the Tech Center location.
Zoe grew up in a pretty small town in Wyoming. Her first experience with really great coffee was when she moved to Bend. When she started at Thump she dove head first into all things coffee and loved every part of it. Zoe started as a barista at our downtown location and moved to the York cafe as manager in 2018. Zoe treats every cup of coffee as a work of art and loves every second spent in good conversation in the café.
Boone is the Bakery Manager here at Thump Coffee, coming on board in spring 2018. All of our Bend baked products come out of our production bakery at our NW York location. He has his hands in all aspects of the bakery, from our butter-rich laminated pastries, like our danish and croissants, to our gluten-free and vegan options, and most recently our in-house bread for our new sandwiches. Our goal is to strike the perfect balance between appearance, taste, and texture with all of our products, and leave our customers with a great experience.
Willow is our head roaster for both Thump & 11 Roasters since November 2016. She manages everything coffee; from green coffee buying to creating blends & roast profiles to ensure quality and consistency. Whether roasting for wholesale, retail, or for our own cafes, you can taste the care and passion infused in every roast.
Anne is our Wholesale Manager at Thump Coffee. Since she started working here, she has had the pleasure of learning the ropes of a coffee shop; from roasting, back of house production, barista, and trainer she can assist with any needs you may have. Her goal is to make sure you are taken care of in the best way and have the skills and tools needed to thrive as a business. She hopes everyone associated with Thump feels like part of our family.
