About Lance
Lance grew up in Bend, OR and through its amazing community, endless trail systems, and the support of my fiends and family, he quickly fell in love with the world of mountain biking. It was while in Bend that he found an undeniable quality that comes with every cup of Thump - and it's since accompanied him on countless adventures. “I'm convinced it is 100% pure stoke.”
Eventually, he found out he wasn't so bad at staying upright and could pedal a bike pretty well. He moved down to San Luis Obispo, CA with his family, and began school at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, studying Mechanical Engineering. All the while, he’s continued to have fun riding and racing bike. This year, you'll find him racing Road, Crits, XC Mountain Bikes, Cyclocross and Gravel and drinking copious amounts of Thump coffee while he’s at it.

Being humble, authentic, and true to yourself regardless of the situation or of what others may think about you.
