Located inside Bend’s new Central Library at Stevens Ranch on the east side of town. Built to support gathering, learning, and everyday connection, this space pairs our craft coffee and housemade bakery items with one of the city’s newest community hubs.

Inside the newest Deschutes Public Library – the Central Library on Bend’s east side, Thump Coffee finds its place among books, ideas, and community connection. This location offers the same high-quality coffee and house-made pastries, now paired with the quiet hum of a modern library designed for gathering and growth.
Stop in for a quick coffee between errands, meeting a friend, or settling in with a book, the space invites you to stay a little longer than planned. Bright, open, and intentionally designed, it’s a natural extension of the library’s role as a hub for East Bend.

Yes. Your coffee and pastries can accompany you throughout the library. Please be respectful and dispose of your trash.

No! You can come in just for coffee if it’s a convenient stop on the east side of town for you.

Thump is located on the main floor (Level 1) of the Library in the lobby area. There are two entrances to the library.
When entering the West entrance, you’ll see Thump immediately on your right hand side.
When entering the East (main) entrance you will walk through the lobby area and find Thump in the back left corner.

Yes. On Level 3 you will find the Collab/Co-working Area - a generous area dedicated to co-working for students and working professionals allowing for collaboration and access to library materials. You can bring your coffee/pastries with you throughout the library.
